For those who doesnt watch or doesnt know:
L smoking?! ...Let's see, for each cigarette he smokes, L would lose the ability to process .07% of oxygen he breathes in. This will cause his brains ability to process logic at a speed .0643% slower than usual for every cigarettes he smokes. ..Times that by the number of cigarettes in a pack and....

L's ability to think logically increases by .09% The brain uses glucose to process and function smoothly. And because he is constantly using his brain and processing the large amounts of glucose, L never gets fat. ...There you have it - Why L never gets fat even though he is constantly eating sugary food!!
